Bryce Ferendo is an LA based director and editor, who was born and raised in Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University with degrees in Media and Spanish Literature, his passion for storytelling brought him to LA in pursuit of a career in film, where he was later accepted into the USC School of Cinematic Arts MFA program. Since then he has directed and produced multiple short films, both fiction and non-fiction, that cover a wide range of genres from social change to theatrical horror and have played in a variety of festivals worldwide. Recently, Bryce was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Science grant to write and direct an upcoming period-drama based on the true story of the Wright Brothers.
He eventually found a strong calling to post-production and non-fiction storytelling after co-editing the award-winning short documentary, Spokespeople (2020), following it up with an editing credit on the feature length documentary, Beyond Ed Buck, which was released on AMC's streaming service Allblck in 2022. Recently, Bryce joined the post-production team at Number 19, Inc. (Sasquatch, Lorena, Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed), as an Assistant Editor, Additional Editor and Story Producer on various upcoming projects. As a Writer-Director with a background in literature, Bryce aims to craft stories that inspire movie-goers, generate empathy and push audiences to connect with even the most discordant perspectives. The audiovisual medium has an overwhelming power to bring people together and he strives to heighten every project with that in mind. |
